Who performs the Chinese lion dance?

What is the Chinese dragon dance?

Dragon dancers differ from lion dancers in that they are puppeteers as well as dancers. The dragon is usually held on poles above the heads of the dancers, and a larger team of dancers is required to move the puppet, as compared with the lion dancers, where you only usually have two performers.

The length of the dragons' bodies is very symbolic. The longer the body the wealthier the client, as a longer body requires more materials to make it and more dancers to carry it. This means longer dragons are more lucky and prosperous than short ones.
